Job Description
This Procurement Engineer position focuses on supporting the O&M Procurement team with spare parts and maintenance services for renewable energy projects across solar, hydro, thermoelectric, and bio-gas projects. The role involves executing procurement processes, communicating with project teams, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving potential disputes. The Engineer will also maintain a supplier base and contribute to market research.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Logistics/Supply Chain and with training or/and professional experience in a technical field
- 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the energy sector
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Experience in using ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
