Research Agronomist

One Acre Fund is seeking a Research Agronomist to lead complex agriculture research challenges and drive projects towards results. The role involves literature reviews, experimentation, surveys, and extension work to identify impactful pest prevention and control technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in agriculture research
• PhD or MSc with extensive experience in applied agricultural science
• Excellent working knowledge of general agronomy and crop management
• Experience in smallholder farmer extension and pest management projects
• Experience in agricultural trial design, management, and analysis
• Fluent English required
