Responsible for building robust, scalable character, creature, vehicle and prop rigs within Maya, collaborating with animation, CFX, and modeling teams.
Requirements
- Experience rigging in Maya using joints, constraints, and utility nodes
- Understanding of Matrix math and the architecture of Maya
- Understanding of anatomy, deformation, and facial rigging setups
- Python / Pyside for scripting and automation
- Experience with Git and GitLab or equivalent
- Understanding of Houdini-based CFX
- Experience with facial rigs
- 3-5 years rigging experience in a VFX environment
