Material Handler (Flex Shift) - O'Neal Steel / Mobile, AL

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a Flex Shift Material Handler at our Mobile, AL facility. The position will complete a structured training program on 1st shift for up to six months and then provide coverage across multiple shifts as needed to support operational requirements.

Requirements

• Following all safety guidelines and wearing the required personal protective equipment.
• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Set up and operate a variety of processing equipment, burning, band saws, plate roll forming and digibender.
• Reading, interpreting, and following work instructions and blueprints.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.
• Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, add and subtract fractions and decimals.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
• Must be able to work 1st shift for training (M-F 6AM-2PM) and then be able to work a flex schedule.
