Job Description
OnLogic is seeking a Firmware Engineer to develop firmware/software for microcontroller applications across various products, including motherboards and expansion cards. The role involves firmware development, PCB fabrication, and collaboration with external partners. The position requires active participation in continuous improvement and ensuring product sustainability and customer requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of Firmware development experience
- Experience in embedded firmware and debugging using JTAG debuggers
- Strong background in software design with C and Assembly
- Experience with version control systems (git)
- Good understanding of various interfaces including UART, USB, CAN, SPI, I2C
- Good understanding of PC hardware architectures, BIOS, and Linux
- Experience with microcontrollers, their architecture, and operation
- Strong engineering aptitude and detail-oriented skills
- TOEIC score of over 700 or similar English proficiency
- Satisfactory completion of background check
