Job Description
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated Senior Failure Analysis Engineer to join their Product Analysis Lab (PAL). The role involves hands-on work with customer returns, internal failures, and complex products, requiring creative and analytical problem-solving skills. The team values teamwork, respect, and continuous growth.
Requirements
- Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal failures.
- Isolate failure mechanisms across a broad spectrum of products.
- Analyze background data such as ATE logs, X-Ray, and SAT results.
- Apply fault localization techniques such as PEM and OBIRCH.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as DALS/SDL, LVI/EOFM, LVP/EOP, microprobing, nanoprobing, EBIC, EBAC, scan testing, and ATPG diagnosis.
- Develop new processes and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers.
