Director, Physician Leadership Engagement and Health System Integration (contract to 12 months)

The Director of Physician Leadership Engagement and Health System Integration at the Ontario Medical Association is seeking a contractor for 12 months to embed a member lens and strengthen relationships with government and external groups. This role focuses on transforming Ontario’s health-care system through physician leadership, shaping key OHT/PCN initiatives, and influencing development of provincial policies. The position requires strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, and health-care-related project management
• 6-9 years of proven experience in a similar senior role
• Experience working in a professional association, hospital, and/or community setting is preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to provide multi-disciplinary team members with clarity on project goals
• Strong listening and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to break down complex system problems into manageable work packages
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive relations and work with a broad range of people
• Critical appraisal skills
• Highly effective communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
