Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Specialist to join the Production Services department within OP Pohjola's Development and Technologies organization. In this role, you will be responsible for administering database solutions within OP Pohjola's datacenter environment, with a particular focus on either Db2 for LUW or Db2 for z/OS (or both).
Requirements
- Professionals in Database Engineering with deep knowledge of database technologies, especially of Db2 for LUW and/or Db2 for z/OS
- Strong experience in Db2 administration, configuration, and monitoring
- Experience in monitoring performance, analyzing SQL, optimizing queries and tuning database parameters for efficiency
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (eg. DMC, QMF, etc), with Db2 HADR and with encryption features in Db2 LUW
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, Unix OS
- ITIL processes linking cloud solutions to processes (ITIL certification)
- Proficiency in English and Finnish skills are seen as a plus
- Strong understanding of business application priorities, technologies, dependencies, and both production and development processes
