Job Description
We are looking for a talented application engineer to work on Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) for electric utilities. The role involves designing, building, configuring, testing, and delivering these systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, experience with software engineering, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Applications Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of application engineering work experience
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Solid understanding of general computer operations
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems
- Basic understanding of remote system access
- Comfortable working with configuration files and navigating servers
- Ability to collect and analyze data to identify software defects
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB preferred
- Understanding of, or experience with, an OMS or ADMS preferred
