The Sr Principal Consultant Engineer role is part of the GDOT Professional Services delivery team, supporting project execution within the region and globally. The role involves leading Advanced Process Control (APC) implementations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Petroleum industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar relevant qualification
- Background in leading APC implementations
- Exposure to one or more areas: refinery process operations, refinery planning, refinery scheduling, or optimization technologies
- Understand concepts of multi-variable identification and data analysis
- Exposure to plant systems and limited programming experience
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
