Technical Support Engineer

AspenTech is looking for Technical Support Engineers to join their team in two distinct areas: Engineering Solutions and Subsurface Science & Engineering Solutions (SSE). The role offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology, providing world-class customer support, training, and product expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AspenTech Engineering tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, EDR, ACCE) or related software.
• Experience with process simulation models and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Hybrid modeling techniques and piping/layout development (OptiPlant-related technologies is a plus).
• Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
• Bachelor's degree Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Experience in geological modeling software such as SKUA, RMS, or Petrel
• Knowledge of subsurface workflows, including reservoir modeling and New Energy workflows like CCS and Geothermal.
• Familiarity with Python scripting and software customizations is highly desired.
• Strong customer-first mindset, with excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
