Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Creative Director, Copy to join our growing in-house creative team at OpenAI. In this role, you'll help define the voice and narrative direction of OpenAI while leading concept and storytelling across campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in copywriting and creative leadership
- Senior-level creative leader with experience in narrative strategy and campaign concepts
- Strong conceptual mindset and ability to shape big creative ideas
- Deep fluency in product storytelling and translating complex technologies into accessible narratives
- Exceptional writer with a strong sense of voice, tone, rhythm, and structure
- Experience leading cross-functional creative collaboration
- Ability to balance creative ambition with clarity, precision, and accessibility
