Job Description
OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer, Security Observability to join their Security team. The role involves building secure, scalable systems to enhance security observability infrastructure, developing data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce security risk. This position is open to remote employees, or relocation assistance is available to San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- Generalist engineering mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with security and engineering teams
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach
