Job Description
OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer, Security Observability to join their Security team. The role involves building secure, scalable systems to enhance security observability infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust software solutions, and proactively improving the resilience and reliability of data systems. The role supports security and detection capabilities, data engineering for forensic investigations and compliance, and is open to remote employees or relocation assistance.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, or similar
- Background in infrastructure as code with Terraform and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines for security use cases
- Generalist engineering mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with security and engineering teams
