BI Engineer

At OPENLANE, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead initiatives, identify opportunities, and use data to unlock business growth. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, with deep expertise in SQL, data pipelines, visualization tools, and cloud-based data architecture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, Scala)
• Strong foundation in data modeling, governance, and structuring datasets for long-term use
• Expertise in data visualization and dashboarding (Domo preferred)
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
