The Technical Director will oversee project management, coordinate with vendors and labor companies, and ensure successful technical production for events. The role requires 7+ years of Technical Director experience, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Technical Director experience in a client-facing role
- Proven experience managing budgets, sub vendors, union and non-union labor, and production-specific elements
- Ability to travel as needed to ensure customer success and program oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to directly manage A/V vendors, labor companies, clients and client relationships
- Attention to detail regarding production schedules, onsite schedules, security, doc, labor call sheets, partner collaboration, and overall planning tools for technical production
