Data Architect

This platform will integrate diverse data sources and leverage AI/ML solutions for industry-specific challenges, enabling Oracle Industry Applications to unlock value from their data. The Data Architect will design and oversee the enterprise data platform architecture, integrating multiple internal and external data sources to power Oracle Industry Applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in data architecture, with proven success designing large-scale enterprise data platforms.
• Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and advanced analytics architectures.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using enterprise data storage (warehouses/lakes), data pipelines, and AI/ML integrations.
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Kafka, Java, Scala) with experience in distributed data processing technologies (e.g. Spark, Databricks, Apache Beam)
• Deep knowledge of cloud data ecosystems on AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and/or Azure; familiarity with their native data and AI/ML services.
• Experience implementing medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layer concepts) for structured, scalable, and high-quality data management.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, security, and compliance best practices; experience in regulated industries is a plus.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools for data modeling, ETL/ELT, data cataloging, and metadata management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and mentor technical teams.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional and global environments.
