Job Description
Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to provide 24/7 support for its data center operations. This role involves hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and troubleshooting technical issues across various data center systems. The position requires strong communication skills and a willingness to take on-call shifts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware.
- Strong interest in learning new DC concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Shift schedule (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts).
- 3+ years working in an IT environment.
- Experience solving problems on servers, networking devices and IT equipment.
- Inventory management experience.
- IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB) is a plus.
- Experience raising issues to Sr. onsite staff and management as needed.
