Data Center Technician

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to cover 24/7 operations of its data center, providing support for hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role involves working in a multi-tenant cloud environment, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining essential IT infrastructure. Strong communication, problem-solving, and inventory management skills are essential.

Requirements

• Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware.
• Strong interest in learning new DC concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience solving problems on servers, networking devices and IT equipment.
• Experience taking on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events.
• IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB)
• Knowledge of trunk infrastructure is a plus.
