Principal Optical Engineer of Optics and Transceivers

Oracle is seeking a Principal Optical Engineer of Optics and Transceivers to lead the design and development of new optics and transceivers solutions for GPU, compute, metro, and backbone connectivity. The role involves managing end-to-end lifecycle management, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will be responsible for supporting networks and deploying solutions within a global cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years network infrastructure engineering in optics and optical
• Experience with datacenter engineering cabling preferred
• Product Lifecycle management a huge plus
• Testing and Qualification background also a plus
• Python coding and scripting a big plus
