Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join a team focused on building and operating massive, integrated cloud services in a distributed environment. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and contributing to operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies and willing to contribute to innovative projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed services.
• At least 5 years of experience in application development.
• Experience coding in at least two of the following: C, Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience implementing cloud solutions
• Operational development competency using containers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and within groups
• Flexible, resourceful, and team player
• Creative thinking and critical analysis
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
