Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is seeking a Senior Member of the Technical Staff to join the Cloud Infrastructure team. This role involves building and optimizing large-scale cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on both software development and operational excellence. The team focuses on innovative systems like Oracle Support Center and Oracle Support Digital Assistant and aims to provide best-in-class support and a top-tier customer experience. The position is hands-on, collaborative, and requires a passion for solving complex problems in a distributed environment.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of object oriented programming (Java/C++)
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards (SMTP, REST, SSL, HTTP)
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
