Sr Pipeline Technician (Ventura, IA)

Northern Natural Gas is seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to perform highly technical work on a vast interstate natural gas pipeline system. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various technologies including PLC's, measurement equipment, corrosion protection, and repair/replacement of equipment. This is a skill-based compensation program, not tied to seniority or experience, requiring dedication and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, motor control centers, and medium and low voltage power distribution and pneumatic control devices.
• Program, maintain, operate and troubleshoot gas measurement equipment.
• Install and maintain corrosion protection equipment.
• Install and maintain pipe welders certified in API 1104 and ASME standards.
• Perform pigging operations, damage prevention measures, and pipeline right-of-way maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining environmental standards and regulatory compliance.
• Train others on safe work practices.
• Maintain records in compliance with company procedures.
