Faculty Physician, focus in GI| Assistant/Associate Professor

The Knight Cancer Institute is seeking a Faculty Physician specializing in Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer, to support their mission of transforming cancer detection, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment, with a focus on personalized medicine and early detection. The role offers a collaborative environment with multiple opportunities to contribute to patient care, research, and service. The position is in support of the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology, a large component of the Knight Cancer Institute, and will be in the Northern region of Oregon.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD
• Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine
• Board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
• Demonstrated background, focus, and drive to excel
• Proven track record of teaching, basic, clinical, or population research
• Excellent patient care
