Precision Machinist

We're looking for a Precision Machinist to join our team at Oregon Tool, Inc. in Portland, OR. As a Precision Machinist, you will set up and operate precision tooling and machine components using Prototrak machinery, OD/ID grinders, Jig grinders, Jig bore, Wire EDM, conventional EDM and Surface grinders. You will also utilize precision measuring tools to ensure component accuracy and perform daily machine maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years in a precision machining environment
• Expertise in wire EDM and grinding of tool steels and carbide
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with close tolerances
• Familiarity with data/labor entry systems
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality, and teamwork
