Job Description
The Senior Indirect Tax Specialist role involves ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of indirect tax processes, with a strong focus on compliance activities and statutory requirements. The role requires a self-starting personality, strong communication skills, and maturity to take responsibility for own work results.
Requirements
- Review indirect tax returns to ensure accurate VAT filing globally.
- Support the design and maintenance of compliance controls and processes.
- Assist in GST/VAT audits with local finance and shared services teams.
- Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure timely filing.
- Build relationships with local finance to manage tax exposures.
- Advise support teams on day-to-day indirect tax matters.
- Identify opportunities to optimize tax positions and improve compliance processes.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity in all activities.
