Intern - Embedded Systems Robotic Power Tools

Origin is building general-purpose autonomous robots for US construction to tackle rising costs, safety risks, and labour shortages. The Engineering Intern role is a rigorous, hands-on opportunity to work on the cutting edge of construction robotics, focusing on hardware integration and development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
• Solid C/C++ Skills: You must be able to write functional code to control basic hardware peripherals.
• Fearless Tinkerer: You should have a history of taking apart appliances, building 3D printers, or modifying hardware.
• Basic Electronics: Understanding of Ohms law, voltage dividers, pull-up resistors, and how to use a multimeter.
• High agency and strong attention to detail in documenting your teardowns.
