Origis Energy is seeking a Solar Electrician / Technician to maintain and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. This role involves performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as contributing to the efficiency of site operations. The company focuses on decarbonization and providing sustainable solutions for grids and energy storage.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred
- Experience in large-scale solar O&M
- Competency in industrial or utility power operations
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, operating SCADA systems, and using CMMS
- Strong computer skills, particularly in SCADA and CMMS applications
- Advanced positions may require 4+ years of direct or related experience in the solar industry
- Advanced knowledge of LOTO procedures
- Physical and mental preparedness for heavy lifting and various weather conditions
