Job Description
Orion Innovation is seeking a Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced satellite ground segment software systems. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, and staying current with advancements in satellite technology. The company focuses on delivering transformative business solutions through digital strategy, experience design, and engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development focused on satellite communication systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
- Experience programming with at least one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of satellite technology, ground segment operations, and associated challenges.
- Good understanding of networking and routing protocols.
- Experience supporting and implementing MPLS/WAN/SD-WAN circuits and subnets.
