We have an opening for a Payroll Supervisor to lead and oversee payroll operations for our organization. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and effective use of payroll systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (or equivalent experience) OR Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with union time entry and collective bargaining agreements is desired.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally and effectively to employee inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive working relationships across departments.
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, employee benefits, and compensation methodologies.
- Proficiency in payroll software and accounting systems preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills; team-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning
