Job Description
This position requires a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable processing, and assisting with monthly close activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will also prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with month-end/year-end closing, and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Requirements
- Prepare journal entries for review/approval.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor and help process vendor purchase orders, invoices and employee expense reports.
- Support collections and customer billing.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
