Job Description
Outsight is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate a next-generation hybrid cloud infrastructure powering their SaaS platform. The role involves integrating Kubernetes, AWS, and high-performance data streaming to ensure the system's security, reliability, and scalability, managing customer isolation, and enabling a seamless user experience. The team is part of the Data/Platform team and focuses on adding business value to the data coming from the Perception Software stack.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS & K3s)
- Hands-on mastery of Kubernetes internals for debugging and supporting K3s clusters.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services (Cognito, S3, networking, IAM).
- Expertise in security best practices, including customer isolation and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Helm, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with high-throughput data processing and distributed storage solutions.
- Knowledge of monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Background in real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, or equivalent).
