Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Criminal Justice (Findlay)

Actively participates in student learning assessment. Instructs various courses in the Criminal Justice curriculum. Positions are usually open evenings, however, day-time slots are sometimes available. Courses could be face-to-face or web courses.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Working knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy
• Working knowledge of the careers in criminal justice
• Knowledge of Blackboard
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to adhere to student learning outcomes and course goals/objectives
• Ability to teach online and in the classroom to students with differing learning styles
• Ability to motivate students in online and classroom learning environments
• Ability to adopt and incorporate new and innovative teaching elements and technologies into online and classroom courses
• Ability to manage online and face-to-face classroom environments
• Ability to advise students with course selection
• Ability to build and strengthen community relationships in the criminal justice field
