Actively participates in student learning assessment. Instructs various courses in the Criminal Justice curriculum. Positions are usually open evenings, however, day-time slots are sometimes available. Courses could be face-to-face or web courses.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

- Working knowledge of the careers in criminal justice
- Knowledge of Blackboard
- Good oral and written communication skills

- Ability to adhere to student learning outcomes and course goals/objectives
- Ability to teach online and in the classroom to students with differing learning styles
- Ability to motivate students in online and classroom learning environments
- Ability to adopt and incorporate new and innovative teaching elements and technologies into online and classroom courses
- Ability to manage online and face-to-face classroom environments
- Ability to advise students with course selection
- Ability to build and strengthen community relationships in the criminal justice field
