Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Psychology

The primary responsibility for this position is teaching undergraduate students in Psychology. The instructor must be knowledgeable in the discipline and provide high quality instruction. The instructor must have strong skills in written and oral communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and computer use.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Psychology and teaching undergraduate students
• Strong skills in written and oral communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and computer use
• Ability to integrate a variety of methodologies to facilitate student learning
• Ability to manage a classroom and design lessons and activities that will facilitate student learning
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Ability to evaluate student work fairly using Department guidelines
• Strong organizational skills and patience and flexibility
