Senior QC Microbiologist, 12 Months Maternity Cover

We are recruiting for a Senior QC Microbiologist to cover a period of maternity within the Quality Control team at OXB. The role is responsible for planning and performing environmental monitoring, testing, and data analysis to ensure product and cleanroom biocontamination control.

Requirements

• Degree level qualified in Microbiology or related subject and/or significant relevant GMP microbiological experience
• Relevant high level of microbiological laboratory technical and GMP/clean room experience
• Good understanding and knowledge of practical and theoretical microbiology/aseptic techniques; Sterility testing on finished product, Bioburden and Endotoxin testing
• Thorough understanding of GMP and cleanroom biocontamination control
• Advanced understanding of laboratory health and safety requirements
• Greater understanding of regulatory requirements e.g. GMP, and/or Validation and Quality Management systems
• Computer literate (Word, Excel) and high level of familiarity with Microsoft Office software
• Flexibility to work shifts covering the hours from 07.00am to 03.00am Mon-Fri
