Certified Peer Specialist - ACT

The Certified Peer Specialist functions as part of an interdisciplinary wraparound team delivering community support services to individuals impacted by behavioral health issues. They provide supportive rehabilitation and recovery services, demonstrating a warm and welcoming attitude and committing to the shared philosophy of dual recovery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lived experience with behavioral health and/or substance use recovery
• Ability to work in the community and in peer homes
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to 8 hours or longer per workday
