Job Description
Pacific Defense is seeking an Engineering Technician/Lab Manager to oversee and manage a small, fast-paced lab. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and managing the lab's infrastructure, performing engineering development and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work and collaborative teams, with a desire to grow within a dynamic and expanding company.
Requirements
- Experience reading/interpreting drawings and BOMs
- Proven experience in transitioning products from design to manufacturing
- Experience with fast-paced iterative design environments
- Experience with soldering components on PCBs
- Demonstrated experience with system integration and test automation
- Strong understanding of test procedure development & documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment
- Strong understanding of system integration, hardware/software testing, and test automation
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools
- IPC Certified
