Senior Actuary (FSA) - Annuity Products, Experience Studies

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Actuary (FSA) to join their Experience Studies team. The role will involve supporting annuities policyholder behavior experience studies, enhancing predictive analytics capabilities, and producing data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, computer science, data science, or mathematics, and experience working with predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI. The role will be hybrid on-site (4 days a week in office) at either the Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE office.

Requirements

• FSA Designation
• Bachelor’s in actuarial science, computer science, data science, mathematics or related fields
• 4+ years’ actuarial experience
• Experience with statistical computing software (e.g. R, Python, SQL)
• Experience working with large data sets (e.g., Alteryx, Snowflake) and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau)
• Track record of collaborative development and delivery of analytical applications
