The Senior Project Manager of Construction will oversee the development and construction of high-end hotel projects, with a focus on project management and leadership.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Specialization in architecture and engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership (PMI certification is a plus)
- Experience in hospitality and shopping center projects, demonstrating a higher complexity than residential construction
- Proven ability to manage both construction and pre-construction phases, including approvals and technical project aspects with city authorities
- Ownership mentality, acting as a representative of the owner rather than solely as a representative of the construction company
- Budget control, schedule management, and strategic planning for the construction firm
- Ability to ensure the final quality and consistency of the project
- Fluent in Portuguese (highly desirable)
- Cultural understanding and affinity for a Latino environment
- Effective communication skills, especially while interacting with team members in Brazil
- Previous experience in managing hotel construction projects is a significant advantage
