Forklift Driver

Responsible for ensuring that product is loaded properly on trucks and according to specifications. Must operate forklift in a manner that meets all safety standards.

Requirements

• Complete pre-shift OSHA inspection and related paperwork on forklift truck
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures
• Follow all PPE policies
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Report any mechanical problems with forklift
• Load trucks in a manner that they will arrive in good condition
• Unload trucks, and check inbound product for accurate counts, quality, and all other duties required for unloading trucks
• Handle general maintenance and housekeeping of entire warehouse area
• Know and understand fire prevention rules, policies and procedures
• Meet/achieve shipping goals set forth by management
