Chen Moore and Associates, a leading multi-disciplinary firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Lighting Engineer to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves project management, technical coordination, quality design, and assisting with client/prime contact. Florida Department of Transportation experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing and producing CAD plans for the lighting and/or ITS disciplines.
- Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, Geopak, and AutoCAD
- Experience in ORD / FDOTConnect.
- Familiarity with the NEC and NESC
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
