The Vice President, Academic Affairs leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the College’s academic strategy, overseeing all aspects of academic affairs and fostering an academic environment that is conducive to student access, learning, and success.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree
- Twelve years of increasingly responsible related experience in higher education academic administration, supervision of academic programs, and teaching experience in higher education
- Regional and programmatic accreditation and ensuring institutional compliance
- Leading change and assessment of academic programs
- Innovative curricular approaches to education
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
- Accreditation standards, quality assurance, and higher education regulations
- Institutional planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Integrated academic planning
- Strategic thinking
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Ability to work effectively in a large multi-campus environment
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
