Job Description
Parkar is looking for an experienced Applications Developer – Avaloq to drive analysis, design, and delivery of Avaloq-based banking and wealth management solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into cost-effective, high-quality application solutions while ensuring regulatory and architectural compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related field
- 6–9 years of experience in Financial Technology environments (Wealth Management or Core Banking)
- Strong experience with Avaloq (preferred)
- Good understanding of financial and global market regulations
- Strong analytical and product management skills
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict management abilities
- Structured, organized, and detail-oriented approach with focus on quality deliverables
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of testing concepts; test automation experience is a plus
