Credit Analyst, Credit Risk Management

Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating and managing credit risk for customers across Canada, conducting credit assessments, recommending credit limits, and ensuring credit policies are followed.

Requirements

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in credit analysis, with a proven track record in assessing credit risk, managing portfolios, and making sound credit decisions
• Strong financial statement analysis skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and financial modeling
• Ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with credit scoring models and ratings systems is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Confident and professional with the ability to adapt to the customer’s specific situation (both internal and external) and build strong relationships
• Bilingual (French/English) preferred
