Job Description
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineering Team Lead who's ready to take ownership, set the direction, and help others level up. This is the role for someone who thrives in the chaos of a startup, wants ownership over the frontend stack, and is excited to turn a scrappy v1 into a platform ready to scale.
Requirements
- Senior-level frontend experience (6+ years) with previous experience leading a team.
- Strong skills in React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with Tailwind/Shadcn for responsive design.
- Deep understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO fundamentals for web apps.
- Strong understanding of modern build tools and performance optimization (Vite, Webpack, Lighthouse).
- Experience designing frontend architectures and working with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally with design and backend teams.
- A builder’s mindset — you care about moving fast, but you don’t cut corners on quality.
