Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Part-Time

Partners Community Health is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a part-time position. The successful candidate will provide quality resident care, support residents and families, and participate in continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Current Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized institute
• Completion of six-hundred and forty (640) hours in PSW curriculum
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Long-Term Care setting an asset
• Knowledge of Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) standards
• Ability to work well with others in a team approach and adapt to changing situations
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary stressful environment
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills and computer literacy
• Ability to demonstrate an anti-oppression approach to practice
