Inbound Traffic Specialist job description: prepare shipments to be received into inventory, work closely with OEM carriers and internal teams, improve efficiencies and document necessary information.
Requirements
- Document and record inbound delivery information
- Efficiently use forklifts to stage, organize, prioritize and replenish receivers with inbound deliveries & OSD's
- Follow standard procedures for damaged or missing deliveries with proper documentation
- POC for Carrier scheduling and Customer service inquires/expedite requests on Inbound deliveries and scheduling Bale and scrap wood pickups
- Use of MS office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access) to manage delivery information, accurate carry over counts, and EOD report
- Maintain open lines of communication with peers, leadership, and Customer service
- Keeping proper documentation of flagged shipments for office or other team members within the company
