Job Description
Pathfinder is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide high-quality support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a floating capacity. DSPs will support individuals in daily living, communication, work skills, and medication administration, ensuring safety, well-being, and empowerment while utilizing Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) and People First approaches. The role offers flexibility in shifts and locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic language, written, and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support people with disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and safe driving record.
- Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
- Ability to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull against potential resistance.
- Adequate vision, writing, and documentation skills.
