Job Description
Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys with administrative and procedural tasks. The role focuses on organization, document preparation, case management, scheduling, and client communication, ensuring attorneys can concentrate on substantive legal work. This is a remote position supporting a client-facing team.
Requirements
- Draft routine legal correspondence
- Prepare contracts, pleadings, and filings
- Manage case and file management in digital systems
- Prepare and file electronic submissions with courts
- Manage attorney calendars and schedules
- Draft and send client updates
- Conduct preliminary legal research
- Track attorney billable hours
- Coordinate notarizations and exhibit preparation
- Assist in trial preparation
