Job Description
PayPal has been revolutionizing commerce globally for over 25 years. The company operates a global, two-sided network that connects hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers. The Sr. Business Analyst role will work on understanding the payment ecosystem, providing detailed analytic support, and driving business decisions. The role will also strive for operational efficiencies and build financial & analytical nuances across the dimensions of transaction expense, products, and markets.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in business analytics, finance, payments, research experience
- Strong understanding of payments and fintech
- Analytical skills to translate complex transactional data into valuable and insightful information
- Fluent in Excel and experience with statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R) and/or web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience with data aggregation using SQL (Google Bigquery, Teradata, MySQL etc.) and/or flat file or json payload handling through programmatic code
- Experience in visualization tools and building visuals through Tableau and/or Power BI etc.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in a quantitative field (statistics/Finance/Analytics/Data Science)
